I was going to start a contest of cute photos, but then I realized that nothing can beat the photo I would have submitted, so I will go ahead and present the prize to my wife, and hear team which included my family along with clock and Stacky's family. All of your photos of puppies, baby monkeys, and wombats are nothing compared to the cuteness of this photo:

As you already know, we all met up on Saturday. We finally got to meet little Jax (I'm assuming this is how it is spelled?) and he was definitely a cutie. In a manly way, of course. Anyway, all went well and my daughter made friends with him, as much as infants are capable of anyway.
Video Games
I'm looking forward to playing Super Mario Galaxy even more. I still need to make some time to try to finish Metroid Prime 3 though, as it is the best FPS ever made. It doesn't have the best graphics, or the best plot, or even necessarily the best action. Where it excels is that it provides a much better control system than WASD and a mouse. I didn't think that was possible, but Nintendo proved me wrong.
I forget if I relayed this story here previously, but clock and Stacky seemed to find it amusing. When I first got MP3, I played the hell out of it and went to bed late. It's such an immersing game (you even have to move your hands to operate levers and such, not just the shooting) that it seems I dreamt about it. My wife and I were sleeping, when I apparently sat up in the bed and told her "They're forming a circle!" (while in my sleep.) It's probably funnier if you hear it in person, and if you are aware of the fact that there are some bad guys that I thought were just birds flying around in the background, but form a circle that shoots some sort of energy beam at you.
Work
Work is really busy lately. I've been working on multiple projects. One is putting my I.T. Asset Management app into production. That has been a pain. We just finished importing all the data, now we have to just finish final UAT in production and I have to do user training tomorrow. Then we'll be set.
I'm also working on a few other projects and trying to work with the users to prioritize the work for next year. My budget got cut pretty badly so I won't be able to bring in as many consultants as I originally wanted to, and because of budget issues I have to wait until March to kick off any of my projects. I have two six month projects that require three people, and one more that requires two people and four months. That is just the approved capital projects. I have tons of O&M stuff to deal with too, that users will want but they aren't willing to pay for.
HHFC
So I'm down about 10 pounds in two weeks, which is pretty good considering how much I ate last week. I drank a bunch at the basketball game, the next day I ate a lot at the work holiday lunch (homemade Indian food! YUM!) and should have probably gained wait. Still, I did good, and lots a couple of pounds. This week should be better. I have about 25 more pounds to go, but will probably see a slowdown in weight loss in a few weeks.
Baptism
The trip to Mexico, along with my daughter's baptism, went well. We got a ton of pictures, including some from a newspaper photographer. We were not good enough for front page news, unfortunately. My daughter did make the full second page though, apparently, and we're waiting to get our copies of the paper. In any case, here is a photo taken at my wife's grandmother's house:
I've been told that it is a nice photo, although I think I look like a fat fuck and hence my participation in the HHFC.
I think that's about it for now. I'm sure other stuff is going on, but I'm tired and need to get back to work. Talk to you all later.
